HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRINA !!!
hehe happy birthday to my best friend! she doesn't know what i've gotten for her present yet. will be delivering it to her house and hope she likes it.
our surprise party for her failed terribly 'cos ws reached Ma Maison empty-handed. he missed the birthday cake. faint. Ma Maison is in Bugis Junction and is a French-Japanese restaurant. i had Japanese pasta, i think it's too salty for my liking though. brina and ws ordered their set lunch. i dipped her black pepper sauce. it's damn salty!!! we wouldn't go back to Ma Maison again though the decor's good. the table for four is small and cramped... not good, i do not like it.
we went to take neoprints after the meal. lol damn cute, i want to take with Z again :x we took one last year and he suggested it haha. we went over to Iluma cos brina wants to see the UFO Catchers!!! heard raves about the arcade over there. there are many UFO Catcher machines indeed and there was quite a crowd surrounding the Rilakkuma machine. we spent 'bout 2 hours there, the experts we saw are actually uncles. damn cool right. i don't know how much ws and brina spent on the machines but i remember it's a fair bit of amount of money and got nothing in return. lol lousy us.
we caught Final Destination 4 in 3D after that. we had to wear the 3D glasses, abit disgusting 'cos the lenses are kinda oily. i quickly went to the washroom to wash my face after the movie lol but the glasses are damn cool! the movie characters seem to be filming in front of you and the blood and stuff splatters right on you!!!!!! aiks!!!!! damn exciting, i was like dodging left to right throughout the show lol! man.
after the movie we headed back to Bugis for MOF. i ordered a Kakiage Bento set. brina ordered seafood runny omelette soup. ws ordered stone rice. the bento set looked cheap and stingy. only 5 small pieces of vege plus rice and Japanese light soya sauce. it's not even the usual sweet sauce that the sushi parlours provide for you to dip your tempuras with. the customer service was good though. we ordered deserts after that and they came in really mini portions -_- damn sian only cos both meals throughout the day are lousy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i miss Nihon Mura and Ichiban!
oh and i'm leaving for Taipei next Saturday with mum, brina and brina's mum. how cool is that!?
