Monday 15/10
was late for my dental appointment. good to hear that braces would be removed this coming January. headed home while baby came over later before meeting Ling and Sean. went Bugis to have dessert after which we raced to Buckaroo, a Texas cattle ranch restaurant baby recommended. it's located amongst terrace houses near Sembawang Park. it was cooling on-site though there's no airconditioning. we made a jump in ordering Calamari, 6 Buffalo Wings of Level 2 spicyness, Beef Lagsane, Marinara Sphagetti & Fish N Chips. by the time we finished like three-quads of calamari and wings, we were pretty full, even for the very-hungry Sean, who managed to finish only half of his Lagsane in the end. high food wastage! i like the coleslaw from Fish N Chips. the main courses are a 'lil pricey imo :) but their big servings and no service charges made up for that :)

Tuesday 16/10
my only working day of the week :D
in fact, all OCBC branches closed at 4:30PM to prepare for CFS Dinner. jasmine, delphine came over to my place to bathe and stuff 'cos their homes are so far away - Sengkang. we had fun doing makeup together :D it was drizzling still when we cabbed down to Suntec. yeap so we took quite a number of group pictures around the ballroom while waiting for the dinner to get started. here's one:

and, the appetizer/cold dish. it's the only dish i took a picture of eh 'cos i went around tables. jellyfish, octopus, braised duck, char siew, suckling pig. i never fail to drop food while eating. this time round, it's a fairly big piece of octopus in the left corner:

duck, fried rice, sweet & sour fish, yam cake, celery & mushrooms, mango pudding and shark's fin were also served. have you had 2 servings of shark's fin at any dinner? the 5 of us who shared a table did. the whole branch consists of 20 odd of us and 3 tables were given so yeah we got quite a deal lol. on the whole, the food wasn't really fantastic. ... Buckaroo was.

this is Desmond, my colleague who holds the same job scope as me and i can't stand the way he laughs spastically lol. on another note, i'm glad i wore my 3-inch wedges:

went to find my Harbourfront buddies. Alice, the auntie on the right dotes on me alot , how can i not take a photo with her:

:D and i'm very thankful i've colleagues sending me home after the dinner. save $ in taking cabs, and the time waiting. you should've seen the amount of people waiting at the lobby - the ballroom houses approx. 2000 of us.

that's all.
