again, i failed to blog at least once a week...
anyway rewinding back to Mother's Day, the 11th of May, i was the flowergirl of the day, giving out 100 stalks of carnations to mothers within sight. wayang lor wth. with the photo-taking and all. we had this cookie jar making session for near 3hours. then after lunch i went to eat snake and reserved a cake for mum. oh now did i realise i didn't take any picture of it ~ it was heart-shaped, layered with lightpink roses made of icing. i got carnations for both my mum and his :D he picked me up from work and insisted getting a gift for my mum. jake was ridiculously happy 'cos it was Bird's Nest -_- so we cut the cake & tv-ed. mum chatted quite alot with him and he left at 'bout 11.
on Monday, Jas and Jenny brought me to Dick's Beaumonde for uniform-fitting. as usual, i was late again lol. had Fish & Co after that @ The Wheelock Place. the view from the restaurant is lovely. ordered Coriander Catch – Grilled dory fish marinated with coriander sauce. it was alright for me. it was the healthiest main course already lol. the Clam Chowder was good though.
had Gelatissimo @ Scotts Road. mint was good, forest berries was a tad too sour.
Manicure & Pedicure @ Nailzstory. the service there pretty much sucked. would never go back there again.
Swarovski @ DFS. Jas bought earrings and a ring. swipe her CC like nobody's biz lol wth. saw alot of tops and dresses of my style but wasn't really interested. saved $.
i had to work on Tuesday, to cover Wendy's duties. very small crowd. no commission earned! ah! was pretty sick and drowsy 'cos i had some cough syrup. he picked me after work and we went to Plaza Sing for Ironman !!! i liked the show!
we drove around Geylang to look at the illegal activities going on at the backstreets and boy oh boy, the girls were all lined up, trying to gain the most attention. some were quite pretty, some look like poly students, like omg. he commented that my eyes were like popping out lol i was pretty embarrassed but then thankfully his car's windscreens and all are tinted so from the outside, people can only see shadows heh.
we didn't really have dinner. we headed back to PS area, wanted to have some Rochor Rd taohuey but it was already closed! damn. he drove further down, we had yummy dimsum :D by the time we finished and were on our way home, it was already 1:30am. mum was so pissed with me :( i admit i went overboard 'cos i promised to be home early. now i've a curfew - to be home by 12 midnight at all times.
