Chapter 160: Popiah in the house
did everyone sleep like a baby last night??? i love rainy days... i wrapped myself up with the blanket like popiah and slept for 'bout 9hours, i didn't even on my fan. i could have slept longer if my brother and mummy talked softer. my brother's class is holding a chalet at Pasir Ris today and it's the first time he's going one. he was so excited, kept asking my mum what else to bring. ... the older he get, the longer-winded he is. i asked him if he's going to cook during the BBQ, he said he's waiting to eat instead and that the girls would cook. then he asked me how many beds would there be in a room. obviously there's only 4. he was like, "huh 4 only? how to sleep. i wanna sleep one. my friend told me the beds are for the girls to sleep." i was shocked . . . my brother so un-gentleman oh my god and hor he doesn't know how to cycle. the moment i think of it i wanna laugh xD lol i know how to cycle and swim unlike him! and it's raining like chihuahuas and persiancats, i wonder how he's surviving at Pasir Ris now hahahaha x:
i just received brina's sms. brina and ada ended up not having lunch together at Tiong Bahru Market due to the rain today ): poor girls. anyway, i was supposed to meet them too then i forgot i've to complete my 3-hour session housework so i didn't go:
1. sweep room
2. mop room
3. tear down all posters on the walls
4. scrub the walls
5. wipe window grills
6. change bedsheets
my fingers are red now 'cos i had difficulties removing the blue tacks ): i wonder why i pasted the posters so high up, knowing that i can't reach with ease if i were to remove them the next time. now i learn my lesson (y)
oh great, SWAS has an event on this coming Friday again!! W has yet confirmed. we're catching Night at the Museum!!! i remember dear and me mentioning that we'll catch it when it's released. before that we'll have dinner at Pastamania. Marinara, my favourite. again, i can't wait! it's always exciting to go out with my girls. inimitable beings hehe. love them many many.
oh, and if you're of Madam-status already (e.g. my mum, MADAM Chua.), it means you're old, you can't work, you cannot be hired? what the fork of logic is that. i can't help ranting a lil'. it's like my mum's friend offered her a job. we go to a school in Ang Mo Kio and sell textbooks for 3 days. it's not confirmed whether i've got the job yet. then earlier, my mum's friend told my mum that the in-charge asked her, "huh, she's Madam ah. so old can work meh?" ... retarded ok. my mum's friend told her immediately that my mum's an experienced individual and that she's only 40 years old. my mum was like, "wah sad leh ah-na, nowadays people may not hire me 'cos i'm 40 is it?"
... ho ho.
